Our Employees. Our Pride.
"Our Employees. Our Pride."
What is the value of an employee to a company? Not its cost, but value. Requirement that attaches importance to a person, the function and the work that he performs?
Valuing means adding value to something, recognizing the importance of something or someone. In the professional field, the valuation theory has proven to be an effective motivating resource, but its practice must be effective and not mere rhetoric. It refers both to respect and to the benefits and bonuses offered to employees which, although legitimate demonstrations of gratitude, cannot be sustained without the daily application of the first item: respect. And nothing fairer, since employees add their knowledge and skills to companies, contributing to decision-making, to the good course of business, to the achievement of common goals.
Today, organizations know that it is not enough to rely on professional knowledge in a given area. It is necessary to take into account that the person carries with him needs, feelings and questions that complete him, humanize him and make him unique. With this, in their environments, they seek to encourage the exercise of creativity, cordiality and communication, understanding joint work as a two-way street. Both the company must promote rights, training and a healthy environment for the professional, and the latter must fulfill their duties and offer their best knowledge, skills and performance. All of this increases the quality of work and makes teams feel like they are part of a whole.
The ESG perspective also refers to a positive relationship between workers and managers. As is known, ESG – environmental, social, and corporate governance – is an approach that evaluates the performance of companies in favor of these three pillars: environmental, social and governance, considered essential in risk analyzes and investment decisions . The term gains visibility thanks to the growing concern of the market with sustainability, and companies, in accordance with these practices, seek to understand and adapt their impacts on society. Briefly, ESG involves building an ethically and environmentally sustainable world that guarantees quality of life for all. It is inevitable that its social aspect reinforces the importance of employees, suppliers, customers and other members of the professional environment and that it is related to health, well-being, privacy and security issues, transforming the so-called business world into spaces committed to overcoming the inequalities and discrimination, with the defense of human rights, among other relevant issues. To make a real difference, ESG guidelines must be implemented structurally and be part of all company activities. And if there is a consensus that diversity within companies is a positive aspect, awareness actions also become essential for creating an internal culture to combat prejudice.
Sphere, in its social dimension, manages its relationship with its employees on a daily basis, valuing issues of diversity, equity and social inclusion. Without losing awareness of perpetuity, its members are called “one big family”, “the Sphere family”, for the belief that, in order to remain focused on enchanting its customers, the company must, first of all, respect, value and invest in its professionals.
Sphere is extremely proud of its team. For this reason, it invests in training, in people and, above all, in the human being that it sees in each one, a member of the Sphere Family, for whom it expressly declares its respect and recognizes the value of its work.
