ESG – Da complexidade do tema \u00e0 simplicidade e aos erros<\/strong><\/h3>\n

O ESG – sigla de \u201cenvironmental, social and governance<\/em>\u201d- engloba modelos de neg\u00f3cios e pr\u00e1ticas que definem os investimentos de uma gest\u00e3o sustent\u00e1vel<\/strong>. Resposta do mundo corporativo aos ODS – Objetivos de Desenvolvimento Sustentado – da ONU, deve ir al\u00e9m do discurso e promover a\u00e7\u00f5es efetivas.<\/strong><\/p>\n

O alcance da sigla \u00e9 t\u00e3o vasto quanto complexo, o que tem levado a alguns desacertos, como se a conscientiza\u00e7\u00e3o sobre sustentabilidade fosse algo novo e a manuten\u00e7\u00e3o de programas empresariais de compliance fosse tarefa simples. N\u00e3o se pode reduzir o ESG a uma mera ideologia com o intuito de se angariar simpatizantes. Os crit\u00e9rios de seus tr\u00eas pilares t\u00eam como objetivo analisar fatores que est\u00e3o, direta ou indiretamente, relacionados aos neg\u00f3cios e exigem o engajamento consciente de empresas e investidores socialmente respons\u00e1veis. A proposi\u00e7\u00e3o de in\u00fameros movimentos divulgados de modo cont\u00ednuo e, por vezes, repetitivo, acaba por esvaziar o real sentido do investimento ESG. Em outras palavras, n\u00e3o basta declarar-se adepto \u00e0 uma agenda ESG, \u00e9 preciso que haja uma integra\u00e7\u00e3o entre pol\u00edticas, pr\u00e1ticas e dados de forma organizada, bem como a ado\u00e7\u00e3o de metodologias claras e sistem\u00e1ticas.<\/p>\n

Al\u00e9m da cobran\u00e7a por pr\u00e1ticas sociais respons\u00e1veis, os investidores perceberam que que empresas com agendas ESG agregam valor econ\u00f4mico e t\u00eam suas imagens melhor avaliadas, levando os gestores a repensarem suas rotinas e a elaborarem pr\u00e1ticas sustent\u00e1veis apoiadas pela evolu\u00e7\u00e3o tecnol\u00f3gica. O ESG faz parte de uma evolu\u00e7\u00e3o que n\u00e3o pode ser contida e aponta necessidades a serem superadas, mas \u00e9 preciso que seu discurso chegue a uma pr\u00e1tica efetiva. Trata-se de um processo que requer tempo. \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0N\u00e3o h\u00e1 setor que, por conta da evolu\u00e7\u00e3o tecnol\u00f3gica, da pandemia ou outro conjunto de fatores, n\u00e3o esteja passando por mudan\u00e7as. E onde h\u00e1 mudan\u00e7a n\u00e3o h\u00e1 como n\u00e3o se falar em aquisi\u00e7\u00e3o de conhecimentos, em constru\u00e7\u00e3o de novas culturas e novas formas de se relacionar dentro e fora do \u00e2mbito econ\u00f4mico. \u00a0Se ESG envolve mudan\u00e7a de comportamento, nada mais justo do que coloc\u00e1-la no \u00e2mbito da educa\u00e7\u00e3o, principal vetor de mobilidade social e de adequa\u00e7\u00e3o a novas circunst\u00e2ncias. Governan\u00e7a, sustentabilidade e responsabilidade social s\u00e3o essenciais para uma atua\u00e7\u00e3o mais respons\u00e1vel e a sociedade est\u00e1 fazendo suas escolhas por estudo, trabalho e investimento em organiza\u00e7\u00f5es que estejam atentas a essas causas. \u00c9 preciso que cada um participe ativamente e que tamb\u00e9m propicie um retorno para a sociedade. Mas, ao inv\u00e9s de alardes, de a\u00e7\u00f5es inconsistentes e seus derivados riscos, \u00e9 preciso que se indague por onde iniciar essa mudan\u00e7a, como quebrar essas barreiras?<\/p>\n

N\u00e3o menosprezando as a\u00e7\u00f5es em projetos socioambientais, nem tampouco pol\u00edticas de quotas amplamente implementadas por empresas, se n\u00e3o houver uma forma\u00e7\u00e3o de base, andaremos em c\u00edrculos. N\u00e3o basta discurso, assim como n\u00e3o bastam as apar\u00eancias, mostrar-se antenado \u00e0 realidade. N\u00e3o bastam a\u00e7\u00f5es imediatistas que colocam empresas em posi\u00e7\u00e3o de aparente destaque, mas que no m\u00e9dio e longo prazo, se revelar\u00e3o in\u00f3cuas pela complexidade e planejamento que o tema exige para se tornar perene. \u00c9 preciso que as empresas redefinam e formalizem metodologias para o ESG ser consolidado e, concomitantemente, criem uma nova cultura entre\u00a0 seus pares a partir de projetos promissores. Entender o meio ambiente, o desenvolvimento social e a governan\u00e7a como caminhos \u2013 n\u00e3o simples ou curtos \u2013 mas absolutamente necess\u00e1rios para uma transforma\u00e7\u00e3o duradoura e ben\u00e9fica. Defender os crit\u00e9rios ESG com a\u00e7\u00f5es que, de fato, minimizem erros e produzam resultados positivos.<\/p>\n
